How to register your Dog/Bitch:
1. Download the Single Registration Dog Form (Form 2) from the Forms page on this website.
2. Complete the Form 2 - Single Dog Registration Form by filling in all the details required, I.D cards and telephone numbers of both the breeder and the owner of the sire. Make sure that both the sire and dam are registered with the MNCF, otherwise the application cannot be processed. If the sire and dam are not registered, insist with the breeder to have them registered as otherwise you will end up with a dog without pedigree.
Please remember to complete all sections of form and return it to the MNCF. Application processing usually takes up to 7 days to process. SINGLE DOG REGISTRATION FORM EXPLAINED: How to complete the Single Dog Registration Form:

The owner of the dog/bitch should insist with the breeder that the form be handed to him already filled and signed (except for section 7 which shall be filled by the new owner). It is the responsibility of the breeder to ensure that the form contains the signatures of the breeder and owner of sire, and that both the Sire & Dam are registered with the MNCF prior to registration of the dog/bitch. This will save time for the owner from running after the owner of the sire to collect the signature and avoid any problems arising in a case were the owner of the Sire will not want to sign or if any of the parents are not registered with the MNCF. Serious and reliable breeders should register their litters of puppies and hand over the registration certificate to the new owner, signed on the back for the new owners to be able to transfer the ownership of the dog/bitch.
