HOW TO TRANSFER THE OWNERSHIP OF A DOG
There are instances in which the Registration Certificate of a dog, which includes the transfer of ownership form on the back, is misplaced or lost. In such cases, the Form 3 must be used for the transfer of ownership to be recorded. The new owner must obtain the signature of the present registered owner for the transfer to be completed.:
1. Download the Change of Ownership (Transfer) (Form 3) from the Forms page on this website.
2. Complete the Form 3 - Change of Ownership of a Dog (transfer) Form by filling in all the details required, I.D cards and telephone numbers of both the present owner and the new owner of the dog/bitch. Make sure that all signatures and I.D Card numbers are included, otherwise the application cannot be processed.
Please remember to complete all sections of form and return it to the MNCF. Application processing usually takes up to 7 days to process.
